We had a wonderful time at this place. You are surrounded by jungle. The huts are very cozy and they have everything you need. Jen is the host of this accommodation and she lovingly takes care of her guests. There is a delicious breakfast and she helps you organize any activities you want to do. We will remember this accommodation for a long time.

The moment you reach this eco lodge you are welcomed by the proud owners Daniel and Brian. They are the perfect hosts and specialized in great food (breakfast, lunch and dinner!) and cool coktails. We loved the vibe in Old Bank, Bastimentos and the hosts of the Caribbean View. The hotel is run by a family and theyre all really friendly and helpful. The son Luis can also take you on some amazing trips with his boat. The room is very big and clean, and every day your room is cleaned. Sometimes there is a problem with water on the island but when you ask the owner he puts the water straight on for you and you will have warm water to shower

We loved our stay at Ataraxia! The owners are amazing, super friendly and helpful with everything. The location is breathtaking and the meals were absolutely delicious (we even saw a sloth at dinner hanging in the tree next to us!) we would highly recommend staying there!

Everything. Super calm and peaceful, amazing way to spend time in the nature. Forest reserve is lovely to walk through with a lot of animals to spot like caymans and armadillos. The food we had for breakfast and dinner was lovely and very tasty. The couple who runs the place is super helpful and made our stay really enjoyable.

Carmen’s place is between luscious jungle and a gentle bay by the sea. It has a dock where in you can sit and relax or even have breakfast. All the food is made by Carmen, and she accommodated my dietary restrictions perfectly. I really enjoyed falling asleep listening to the jungle sounds, and waking up to sun rising. Both Carmen and Marcel were excellent hosts, helping me out with anything I needed. I really enjoyed the stay especially the evening dinners with all the guests. Afterwards we would sit, drink and chat for hours.

Excellent location on the island. Easy to take a boat and access to others part of the island. Quiet and peaceful place to hear birds, monkeys, sea at night. Carmen and Marcel are great host. Delicious food cooked by Carmen. Really helpful and kind. Peaceful stay with a twist of magic at the sunset.

We had an amazing stay at Ataraxia, the hosts are so welcoming and friendly. We stayed in a sea view lodge which was perfect, the balcony had lovely views of the sea and jungle. On our second day we used the complimentary kayaks and went through the mangroves seeing sloths and many birds - an incredible experience! Thank you

We stayed in number 5 villa which was the perfect location. Huge balcony and room with a large bathroom. The food was outstanding and I thoroughly recommend the dinner option, with wine. It is easy to get a water taxi to town or to any of the other islands. Pierre and Manon were the perfect hosts and could not have been more helpful. A really memorable stay.
