The tent is very comfortable with private bathroom. We took a tour for sunset with the owner of the camp and it was definitely worth it - he told us some stories of the place and the landscapes were exceptionally beautiful. We also enjoyed driving on the dunes. Dinner and breakfast was also nice.

what an amazing place. If you want to experience the peace in the wilderness of the desert in a luxury tent, fabulous food and people that really care about the desert and environment then this is the place for you. Camp (unlike many of the other desert ‘camps)was on top of the dunes so sunset/sunrise spectacular and with 0 noise and light pollution the night sky was incredible. We lay on our backs watching shooting stars before retiring in comfort. There are only 4 tents in camp so you do get a real feel of the desert. The drive (40 mins into the desert) was an awesome experience too.

The camp is simply great! The few tents are nicely decorated and beds are comfortable, everything is perfectly clean. The owners are super kind and it’s easy to communicate with them. Both breakfast and dinner were amazing! big variety of local food, great coffee, all fresh with delicious aroma. In the morning the camels came closer and made our son happy. The staff was kids friendly.

Best. Rashid is the best!! Everything was perfected. Dinner and breakfast was also amazing. And tent was sooooo luxury, big and comfortable. Do not be afraid about direction into camp, you will have a meeting (in meeting point, which is not in desert) with Rashid. If you have a 4x4 car, you will follow another car. Before entering into desert, they will help you with tires, also if you will come back from desert, they will again help you with tires. If you have 2x2 car, they will take you into desert with 4x4 (for some fee). Please, all book dunes bashing and sunset trip, it is amazing fun.

Experience of a lifetime Everything planned perfectly down to every detail. The accommodations were amazing and we really enjoyed the stargazing platform at the camp. Highly recommend the sunset camel ride and desert trek in the morning. Bedouin host was extraordinary he made our trip a memory of a lifetime.

Being far away in the desert, the place had a special atmosphere and the accommodation was both practical and in harmony with the peacefulness of the nature. The cottage had everything we needed - including private bathroom, warm water and electiricty. The breakfast and supper prepared by the staff were delicious.

In spite of very tough weather - frequent rainstorms and flooding, we had a memorable stay The staff, especially the manager, Mr Ali, super supportive They handled well non-trivial questions - i basically wanted to go across Wahiba Sands in my 4WD - and we spent time studying the map and navigation - then we agreed on safety protocols - so i report passage through the desert at a certain point - all worked very well - and Mr Ali was not only super informative and but also very responsible

A fabulous night. The camp is located deep into the desert and the ride in over the dunes was part of the fun. It was very peaceful, with only 5 rooms and a perfect setting up on the dunes. We could discard our shoes for the duration of our stay, and had wonderful sunset and dawn walks up into the high dunes directly behind our room. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We were picked up by the owner and he took us for a ride through the dessert to see a sunset. This was the highlight of the stay, together with meeting hs camels.

Wonderful experience at Desert Wonders camp! The location in the middle of the Dunes, the simple yet authentic camp, and the kindness of the owner really made our stay memorable. I would definetly recommend to anyone looking for the true bedouin experience!

The camp is quite big, easy to access and clean. Our bedroom was a big tent, with lots of space and a private open air bathroom. The owner Nasser was very kind and helpful. We did a jeep tour with him for 1 hour at sunset for the cost of 30 Riyal (including also transportation from the parking spot to the camp and back). The tour was quite short and we stayed close to the camp, but we still had amazing views.
