We have stayed at Thornton before, a few years ago. On this occasion it was Easter weekend and could only get booked for the Friday night through booking.com. Steve the owner was very accommodating as we were going to a consert on the Saturday and he went out his way to make sure we could have the Saturday night stay also. On arrival we were met at reception and was greeted welcomingly. We were in one of the new units to the rear of the property. The accommodation, was very comfortable clean had everything you need, nice shower to, and in a good spot to travel to Havelock North, Napier and Ahuriri. I give 10 out of 10 and would recommend it.

Beautiful tranquil spot, gorgeous decor and super comfortable amenities. Private, peaceful space to enjoy a night away. We loved the little extra touches and delicious breakfast and coffee provided.
