Better than my expectations. Very clean and well maintained. The room had everything needed. I stayed there with a good rate compared to the other expensive but not satisfying accommodation in the Netherlands, so it was a really good value for money. The staff were very helpful and kind.

We liked everything, We think it's a wonderful place. We liked the location, the very quiet place in the middle of the greenery. The type of accommodation: very beautiful, tidy, clean, functional and very well equipped. The kindness of the receptionists, very helpful and cooperative despite our delay on arrival due to highway traffic problems.

August holidays but not crowded, there were times we had the pool to ourselves as most other families drive out for the day. Great exploring in the nearby woods for walks and mountain bikes. Our cabin did not have a parking space for a car but plenty of space in utility shed for 3 bikes and the washing machine.

De Slaapmus is much more than a B&B - more like an apartment and a home away form home. A cosy living room with one of wall covered with books spanning a wide range of topics, and a nice sofa to relax in. On the ground floor we also had a toilet and shower plus a small kitchen where we could make our breakfast and a simple evening meal - with a nice view to the cosy garden. Two bedrooms on first floor with superb beds. Everything was spotless clean, and the apparent is decorated by paintings done by the hostess, Monique, who is a professional artist. From the pictures it looks idyllic - in reality its even nicer. The house is situated in an very quite area, yet near to the town centre with all the shops and services you could need. On our arrival we were very well received in a personal and friendly manner by Michiel, and on our departure Monique gave us a tour around her atelier. Highly recommended, and we'll stay here again if we coming this way in the future.

Peter and Marianne provided an excellent breakfast. The room was spacious and had everything one could need. I did appreciate that there was a first aid kit, a fire blanket and a fire extinguisher in the home. The vase of yellow tulips were a lovely welcome.

I have travelled to many places over the years but this was my first visit to the Netherlands. I was impressed from the first moment I arrived by the cheery way that I was greeted. It felt as though I was visiting old friends. The House is situated in a very rural area and makes you feel that you are returning home. The rooms and their decor are equally charming which immediately makes you feel at home. I cannot say that there is anything that I did not like. I hope that someday I will have the chance to visit again.
