We had a lovely stay and although it is a small house it was very comfortable for four adults in two bedrooms and shared bathroom. The house was equipped with everything we needed and very private with lots of windows overlooking the patio and small lawn. Both beds were very comfortable and the shower pressure was good. We were a bit worried as we had to pull our bed down from the wall and it was two mattresses next to each other. If you stay on your side the mattress is super comfortable. We rented bikes and cycled everywhere on the island. If you want you can even arrange for your luggage to be transported from and to the ferry. There are a range of restaurants not that far away and a Jumbo to buy groceries. It is about 2.5km from the beach and beach restaurant and easy to reach.

Staying in Midslands is very convenient. All parts of the island are easy to reach. There is a bike rental place across the street from this hotel and the nearest grocery store is minutes away (by bike), along with multiple great restaurants. The kids loved being about to use the pool each day. The kitchen had all of the equipment that we wanted to use.

We loved the friendly welcoming atmosphere, the coziness, homeliness, attention to detail, all the little luxuries and care, the location, the fantastic breakfast, the comfy bed, the flexible attitude, the late availability, the heart-warming feeling one might get from staying with one’s grandparents, it was all wonderful :)

The accommodation looks very idyllic and cute and had a nice garden. The location is very central. Staff was helpful and polite. The breakfast on the beach was a treat! There is a supermarket nearby and lots of restaurants.

De Witte Handt is perfectly situated: just a stroll to the Centre of town and mid-island. It has a beautiful quiet garden where you can enjoy your generous breakfast in peace and tranquillity and read a book. The lady who manages the place is most gentle and accommodating.
