Nice little restaurant on site made meals very easy and the staff was excellent. You couldn't ask for a more beautiful place to stay. The owner Daniel was incredibly helpful as well and made sure that we did not want for anything.

My room was a beautiful polished wood, with a terrace overlooking the lake. Place was spotless clean. They have free kayaks. The resort arranged an airport pick up from the airport. Included breakfast as good. It’s a very relaxing place for few days, especially that luckily they didn’t d not blast the music out all day long like some other resorts by the lake.

It's like a little oasis in a volcano! The property is big with lots of hammocks, swimming dock, kayaks, birds everywhere, perfect spot to decompress. Staff are friendly, drinks are tasty, kitchen is decent, I will definitely come back for a longer stay!

The hotel is a little walk from the parque central, actually feels very safe as it is in a nice residential area. The hotel is beautifully decorated, very well kept, with a relaxing pool. The staff is wonderful and the service even better than expected, with a big well equipped kitchen you can use, complementary fresh fruit and coffee and they even offered free laundry service!

This property is within walking distance to San Juan de Oriente and Catarina where there is much to see and do if you are a creative traveller or on a walking holiday that passes nearby. This family of artists are simply wonderful; they went out of their way to make my stay as a solo traveller more enjoyable, introducing me to the fruits i brought in the local town and even showing me some ancient stone carvings in their local woodland. The accommodation offers excellent value for money and i enjoyed a wonderful ceramics lesson with a master ceramicist. Here you can enjoy an authentic Nicaraguan experience in terms of the surrounding environment whilst feeling safe, and knowing your hosts are trying to improve their local environment. Fall asleep listening to sounds of the forest and wake up to watch monkeys in the trees.

Lovely accommodation, great pool, super friendly and helpful hosts. The food is spectacular, we’ll worth the visit just for the food. Fresh baked bread, artful use of ingredients. Just wonderful.

Such a beautiful location, would definitely go again. Nice big room with plenty of space. Breakfast was really lovely. I'd definitely recommend this place and wish I could have stayed longer.

Casa Marimba is a gorgeous place with a lot of birds. It's a very nice place to stay as a basecamp to visit the surroundings area including Mombacho and Granada as it's a little cooler, and very nice play to go back in the very hot afternoon ! The food is good, the employees are really nice and helpful :-)

This is an amazing place to chill, I ended up extending to 3 nights. I would recommend doing the same and taking a full day to explore the white villages nearby! I stayed in the dorm and it was comfortable and spacious. Some great evening activities, the volunteers were really nice.

This was one of the best rental experiences we've ever had. The property was absolutely stunning and close to the magical Laguna de Apoyo. The casita was clean and comfortable, and the management was attentive and kind. The only problem was I wish we could have stayed for more than one night. I highly recommend this location and look forward to returning in the future.

Paradiso is one of the best hostels we ever stayed at! We've spent 10 days there because we did a freediving course at the nearby school and it was absolutely fantastic - an oasis of tranquility and beauty! We hope to come again soon :)

Casa Marimba exceeded our expectations. The accommodations were comfortable and somewhat spacious. The staff are excellent and helpful. The food was very good. Surprisingly, the fries are awesome! We ate way too many. Breakfast omelete is delicious. Filet mignon was so tender and juicy - and affordably priced.

beautiful, quiet idyllic escape..staff were lovely. as was Daniel the owner. accommodations are very basic but very clean and I didn't see any bugs or even a single mosquito in my room. food was good. outdoor shower was a nice touch . Lake was a great swim.

Everything was absolutely on point. Service was superb, Daniel the owner was very friendly, helpful and provided a lot of information about the region. The cabins where super nice and clean. Free use of kayaks, lovely warm lake to swim in, food was good. No-brainer to stay here for at least two-three nights if you want a relaxing and tranquil getaway. Best accommodation we had in Nicaragua
