Our recent 5-night stay at The Danna Langkawi was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a world of elegance and exceptional service that truly sets this hotel apart as one of the best in the world. The design and decoration of The Danna are absolutely stunning, with an elegant blend of colonial charm and modern luxury. Every detail, from the grand lobby to the meticulously designed rooms, exudes sophistication and comfort. The ambiance throughout the hotel is both relaxing and invigorating, making every moment spent here a joy. The staff at The Danna Langkawi deserve special mention for their outstanding service. They were incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring that our stay was perfect. Their hospitality made us feel welcome and valued from start to finish. Each day was filled with delightful experiences, whether we were lounging by the beautiful infinity pool, enjoying the exquisite cuisine at the hotel's restaurants, or simply relaxing in our well-appointed room. The serene beach and lush surroundings provided a perfect backdrop for a truly unforgettable vacation. In summary, our stay at The Danna Langkawi was perfect. The impeccable service, stunning design, and overall vibe of the hotel exceeded all our expectations. This is undoubtedly one of the best hotels we have been to. Highly recommended!

Beautiful hotel, set in a stunning location. Each room was spacious and well equipped, with lovely views. Four restaurants, providing an excellent selection of food. All of the staff were friendly, polite and very helpful. The beach was a little piece of paradise.

Amira is such a lovely women, it was my pleasure to spend my time with her and she made my stay in Langkawi so much better...she cares so much, it's unbelievable...her and her husband's customer service is surpassing the best of the best and it's coming from heart, not because they want to please you and take your money....I know where I'm staying next time I go to Langkawi and I'm advising to everyone I meat to go here. ...you have your own room, spacious, your own shower, 2 towels, cleaning on daily basis, location is 8 minutes drive from airport....and owners will help you in every possible way

    The staff are so friendly and kind. They really ensure you are comfortable and enjoying your stay by checking in daily. If there were any issues, staff would fix them almost immediately. There are 4 restaurants with plenty of options for food, and it is delicious. The rainforest surrounding the accommodation is so beautiful and well maintained. We loved seeing all the wildlife each day, especially the monkeys and otters. The spa is also lovely and relaxing.

    The location, beach, facilities were excellent. Very private and well maintained. We stayed at the rainforest chalet which was nested in the forest. To us this was better as we were protected from the hot island sun. Food was great and the package we got of accommodation together with breakfast and dinner was just right as usually people would go out during the day and have meals outside the resort. Despite the need to use the buggy to travel to and fro the lobby and central facilities, the service and staff were always prompt and friendly.

    Excellent chalet-based accommodation in a stunning location. The swimming pool/beach area was lovely. Food at the various restaurants was generally good, and the Chinese menu was superb - try the mud crabs! All the staff were pleasant and helpful and our room had a stunning outlook over the sea and other chalets. A very relaxing stay even though the monkeys were pretty unpredictable!

    This is a tricky one. We were staying in various hotels around the island. 🏝️. All 5*. Sadly the Berjaya fell way below our expectations. We were due to stay for 5 nights but checked out after one. I honestly don’t like complaining and I know everyone is recovering from covid so I’ll leave it there. The only positive is that the concept is a good one. Accommodation in the jungle is a great experience

    The helpfulness of the staff. My husband is disabled and they all went out of their way to make our holiday a fabulous one. Seeing the monkeys every day was exciting too. We actually stayed 9 nights having changed rooms but it all went smoothly.

    The hotel is stunning. Probably the nicest we’ve stayed in. Breakfast was superb. Pool and beach were stunning although if you want to swim in the sea, it might not be for you compared with Thailand due to jellyfish but that might be the time of year so check. There was an army of staff always wanting help with a smile. Obviously you pay for this with the price but if you want a luxury holiday in a quiet beach paradise then look no further.

    Breakfast was super- where we discovered the delicious roti canai, really unique accommodation and amazing to stay in rainforest listening to all the sounds and seeing monkeys / other animals etc; pools, restaurants and access to private beach ; close to oriental village ( albeit lacking investment)

    A quiet place surrounding by natures away from busy place like chenang. However, it's still reachable by car and the country side makes the stay more private than other typical holiday resorts. The bed was large and comfy and the breakfast was delicious. The owner and staff were very helpful, friendly and wonderful. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

    Off the beaten track, but still close enough I enjoyed my brief stay at Api Api Eco resort. Lovely peaceful setting (apart from the occasional call to prayer from the neighbouring mosque) I had a view of the pond at the front and mangrove at the back. Saw plenty of hornbills and a few otters as well. My accommodation was clean and comfortable. All staff were friendly and helpful, even giving me a lift to the best local beach. French toast I had for breakfast was delicious. A delightful haven, close but away from the main area.
