A day before the end of our pedal bike expedition. We arrived in Puttalam after pushing against heavy winds for more than 80km. Tired and stinking actually. Bassam, the owner and care taker of Just Inn, spoke and helped us secure the bicycles. Just inn is a kind of AirBnB or simple and beautiful homestay for any tourist. We stayed that night, tidied ourselves. Bassam rode us in his tuk tuk to the salt flats near by and later we went to a one of its- state of the art - kind of small veg hotel for dinner. We both are lifelong vegeterians. Just Inn is a simple and beautiful homestay. Clean and comfortable stay - like a home - one night or 10 nights - the experience is lively. Anyone who wish to stay there can ask Bassam about our endurance journey in SriLanka. Even though we spent very short time there at Bassam’s place.. a strong bonding was made and I think we will remember each other for a lifetime.. Thank you Bassam for everything…

Channa, the owner, is a lovely man. We had a last minute check in with him, and he arranged a spacious, comfortable budget room for the 3 of us. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and the food was very good. The staff were all helpful and friendly and the hotel was very clean. Highly recommended.

We had a really great stay here!! Tharanga was the loveliest host and they couldn’t do more for us. He has amazing English so communication was super easy. The pool is massive with a shallow kids section too, rooms are clean and comfortable. The food was insane, we had a few different curries and string hoppers for breakfast! They were very accommodating and let us order for specific times with vegetarian options It’s currently off season so it’s quiet, and they really kindly let us check out a couple hours later than the initial time. The whole complex is beautiful and they even had a ‘beer pub’ with a wide variety of drinks. Food and drinks were very reasonably priced and overall the stay was great value A little bit far from the town but this didn’t bother us as we just wanted to chill. I loved how peaceful and immersed in Nature I felt. It was a real detox stay with a wonderful atmosphere. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and the stay wouldn’t have been such a success without them. I particularly loved the rooms which were both spacious and modern with everything we needed. The outdoor shower was a particular highlight! I’d also recommend all the experiences which were super enjoyable and also informative.

The room was spacious and at a very affordable price. The area around the room is so green, you can see a lot of chipmunks, beautiful birds and if you're lucky monkeys too. Ashfal organized for me the safari to Wilpattu National Park for a very good price. If I'll pass again from Puttalam I'll definitely stay again in this nice nature resort 😊

Location, price, rooms, cooking facilities, property has a lot of wildlife like 2 different types squirrels, 2 different types of bats at night, monkeys, peacocks, many different kinds of birds, lizards were they are permanent residents of the water hole. Staff are amazing with information, arranging or assisting with tours, tuk tuks, delivery of meals. Special thank you to Afshal who went out of his way everyday we were there. We have stayed in many home stays in Sri Lanka and this is by far our favourite, highly recommend.

Beautiful house with a very large garden: there were monkeys, peacocks and even a crocodile! Very friendly and helpful owner. Overall our stay and the room with airconditioning were very comfortable!

The guys that was working during pur stay was helpful. Beautiful 80acre coconut farm to walk through, even got given a free coconut by the workers which the receptionist kindly opened for us & gave us fresh mangos from his tree. He organised good srilankan food for us which was brought as a take away which got delivered to the accommodation for a small fee. Food was tasty.

The owner, Shervonne, cares a great deal about their family owned property. She also cares about her guests. we came to meet up with friends and have two Safaris in Wilpattu. they stayed in the Treehouse, an inspiration. we were looked after fabulously from beginning to end.
