We booked this on short notice 10 minutes before we arrived and were super happy that the owner is so flexible. The accommodation was super clean and really nice. It’s right at the beach and beside a great restaurant. Everything was clean and the host was really friendly. We felt comfortable and great to stay here. The garden was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.

The house staff is extremely courteous and helpful. In some other review the staff was described as unfriendly but this must have been somebody else because Mangala was very friendly and made the most amazing fruit platter for us at breakfast. The house has a very light footprint, with air flowing through from front to rear, a large veranda and the entire façade made up of sliding doors. The seamless transition from inside to outside is very pleasant.

I like just everything! Its not possible to not like something there, staff are so great ,they make sure you leave Sri Lanka that it's best country on planet . Hotel room is so beautiful, view from my room will never leave my heart ,I love each detail of this hotel ,art everywhere ! My family and I, a group of seven from Canada, recently had the pleasure of staying at Houseboats by DAE in Bolgoda, and it was an experience we won't soon forget. The houseboat we stayed on offered the perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The rooms were not only spacious but also beautifully designed, making our stay incredibly relaxing. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the food. Every meal was a culinary delight, with dishes that catered perfectly to our taste buds. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the quality and flavor of the food consistently impressed us. During our stay, we enjoyed two cruises each day through the picturesque Bolgoda waterways. The early morning cruise was particularly breathtaking as we were greeted by the serene beauty of nature waking up. We spotted numerous birds and even got a glimpse of the stunning sunrise. The sunset cruise, on the other hand, provided a different yet equally mesmerizing experience as we sailed through the calm waters with the sky painted in shades of orange and pink. The entire experience was beyond our expectations, and if given the chance, we would gladly stay here 100 times over. Houseboats by DAE in Bolgoda is a gem, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable stay

At the time of our stay they were building a descent size pool. It would be nice once finished. Private and quite area. Acess to motorways to go down south or Kandy side was easy from nearest town of Piliyandala.

Very kind and happy smile owner . He tried help guests always , it’s his pleasure . Clean nice big room and bathroom too. Very comfortable stay . Big breakfast, I left some of them for lunch time. Fresh fruits was so delicious! Pretty garden and swimming pool. Supermarket , it’s takes around ten minutes .

    It wasn't just a place to stay, it was an experience. A garden with lush greenery, tranquil vibes, and a host who was so welcoming. My room was simple but comfy, and price was really cheap for what my family got. Fresh air, mango trees, and evenings can be spent on the rooftop gazing at the colorful skies. Security system was also good. I highly recommend this place for vacations and homestays.

Your place well worth money spent and love the location. we really enjoyed cleanliness of the property and obviously relaxing in the evening in your roof-top pool with a glass of beer/Wine was something we cannot find for a similar budget/in a place like yours.
