The owner is such a lovely friendly person and made me feel at home straight away with a coffee, snack and some water. The bed was so comfortable and the room was so cosy. I can't recommend Da Corte Nove highly enough. This village is in the heart of the mountains and off the beaten track for anybody looking for some peace and quiet.

I rarely leave reviews, but this time I simply have to. We came to the island to explore and were looking for a place from which all the locations we wanted to visit would be easily accessible – and we found the perfect spot! Nuoro turned out to be an ideal base for our trips; a charming little town with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The apartment is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. It is extremely comfortable, and the three indoor air-conditioning units ensure perfect temperatures even on the hottest days. The place is fully equipped – from all necessary household appliances to a small balcony, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or a glass of wine with a lovely view. Parking was never an issue during all ten days of our stay – we always found a spot right in front of the building, completely free of charge. But what truly made this experience special were the apartment owners. It is rare to encounter such warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality. People like this leave a lasting impression – not only do you want to come back, but it feels like you are returning to visit friends. This trip will remain one of our fondest memories, and the apartment together with its hosts receive our absolute and heartfelt recommendation. If you are considering accommodation in this part of the island – look no further!

Modern, spacious and secure accommodation in central Nuoro. Excellent access to shops, restaurants and bars, and very quiet and comfortable. We were surprised by how big the room was when we arrived - it's huge, with a generously sized bathroom too. Great selection at breakfast, with friendly, attentive service. All in all, a lovely few days' stay in Nuoro. We highly recommend a visit to nearby Oliena while you're there.
