The apartment is very modern, clean, nice, and well-equipped. We had everything we needed for our stay in the rooms and bathroom, as well as the fridge in our room. By the way, the snack and drink fridge in the corridor was also an amazing idea! The owners are very friendly and nice; they provided us with very useful information and instructions we needed for our stay, and they were always there to respond quickly to our questions, etc. What's more, it was so nice to receive their little welcome gift: Icelandic chocolate! We also loved this little charming city very much. We hope to come back again one day. Highly recommended! P.S. the location is amazing!

Great breakfast. Beautiful place. The smaller building seems to be almost new. The rooms were big enough for us. Coffee machine was always available and chococlate from it was amazing :) And it's close to Fontana (geothermal bath).

The host was very friendly and the house was furnished and decorated very warmly and cozy. The kitchen had everything you need to cook a nice meal. The area was also very peaceful for a nice walk. There were enough parking spots.

We stayed in the guest house and absolutely loved it! The location is very convenient — almost in the center, and only about 1–1.5 hours’ drive to Reykjavik, waterfalls, geysers, and the beach. The place was clean, warm, and very comfortable. It had everything we needed — a hairdryer, straightener, a bean-to-cup coffee machine, a Ninja multi-grill, and a dishwasher. The living room has a stunning panoramic view — the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee with the sunshine ☀️ The Wi-Fi is super fast, too. It was also really thoughtful that the hosts provided shower gels, shampoo, conditioner, makeup remover wipes, and even some feminine products — such a nice touch! There’s also a hot tub with warm water, which was a great bonus after a day of exploring.

Efstidalur was a wonderful destination for our family. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, the food was excellent, the setting was unsurpassed. Guides on our horseback tour to Brúarfoss were exceptional, made us feel very comfortable.

Stunning location and accomodation. We stayed in a family room, very clean with beautiful views. Fab food in the restaurant and delicious Ice Cream in the palour. Our children loved seeing the cows and calfs. Many thanks to the kind & very friendly staff.

the location fitted our needs location wise. the accommodation met our needs, although smaller than expected. All right for short stays. sad part we had to leave a day earlier owing to bad weather.

We had an amazing stay at the cottage, its super clean and comfortable and has everything you could possibly need. We cooked a few meals at the cottage to save some money and there's a hot plate, microwave, toaster and kettle - it was perfect! The mattress was also the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on. Truly a dream and it made our holiday in Iceland all the more magical, thank you so much!
