The most striking feature of the hotel is how spacious the public areas, the bedrooms and bathrooms are. Outside our bedroom there was a large terrace with tables and chairs. Breakfast was varied and buffet style. We also dined in the restaurant and found the food to be good. They went above and beyond whether it was bringing an extra radiator to the room literally minutes after it was requested, assisting us with booking transport or rustling up not one but 2 last minute birthday cakes for our respective birthdays. We also enjoyed really good food at a reasonable price and a very comfortable room in a historic building. A really wonderful experience from the moment we arrived.
