Ann is a superb host, we felt really welcome and got some great tips for the area. Very clean and nicely decorated room. Breakfast was available in a well sorted shop in the village, near the beach.

Nice place to spend time in Achill Island. Restaurant was great and always full booked. We get good information about the filming locations of Sailor my love and The Banshees of Inisherin -movies. Good service and friendly staff!

We were a group of 8 friends and booked two four-bed-rooms. The house was fantastic and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The kitchen area was good for preparing dinner and there was enough room to eat and spend the evening playing board games. Great stay and location - I'm actually sad that we only stayed for one night. Definitely worth staying for the whole weekend! There were also vegan breakfast options available!

From our welcome at the door to Alex and Johns tour of their Amazing 5 star bed and breakfast to the beautiful views, most comfortable room I’ve ever stayed in and the best breakfast I ever had in my life this was the best experience in a bed and breakfast or 5 star hotel Iv had .

I just had overnight stay there but it was absolutely amazing!!! The room was so spacious and clean, also smelled great and the bed was comfortable. The owner was so nice and friendly! She smiled all the time. Def recommend to my friends

I think the cost for a 4 night stay was too expensive. Karen, our cleaning lady, was very friendly efficient & accommodating. I can't understand why if my daughter came to stay with us, I would have had to pay more . You are hardly going to rent out a room to some stranger in the house we've paid for??? We've been going to Achill for many years but have never come across this before.

Location, decor, comfort, view, food! From the moment we arrived we were looked after where Jon and Alex’s every thought was their guest’s comfort and enjoyment. All other people staying were also returning customers which says a lot.

Wonderful destination, and nice to find quality accommodation in such a remote place. We were given brilliant advice on what to see by the receptionist. Top floor room, with views to the cliffs made this particular stay memorable. Excellent breakfast ++. On-site parking. If our itinerary had permitted, we would have liked to have stayed longer there.

I'm sure there are a number of good options on Achill but clearly Stella Maris is one of the best. Accommodations are excellent: large well-outfitted rooms with very nice bathrooms ensuite. Everything sparkly clean. It's right on the beach, with its own private gate. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. And the breakfast, a combination of menu and continental, deserves a special mention.

This was the best short stay we have ever had in Ireland. The location was superb, the accommodation was excellent with a magnificent breakfast. But what made the stay even more amazing were the hosts John and Alex. They were charming, informative and so helpful. We were so impressed with them and the place that I booked another 3 days for September.. there 5 star award is richly deserved.
