I stayed here for 3 nights. Peso and his wife Anastasia are amazing hosts. Peso knows a lot about Toraja culture and can show you all the ceremonies and local markets. Anastasia is a very good cook, so if you order dinner, be prepared to eat A LOT. The room was spacious and clean and had a lovely mountain view. Peso and Anastasia helped me with everything: how to get to Toraja from Macassar, tour around Toraja, bus ticket to Tentena and lots of other info.

We had a great time at Villa Bait Lino, Lukas and his family are very nice people and invested to make you spend a good time. The place is beautiful, you sleep just in front of the rices fields and the mountains. I absolutely recommend this place to discover the toraja culture. Also i would recommand Marco as a guide to help you discover Toraja, he is a very nice person, commited to his work and he'll tell you everything you need to know about the toraja culture.

Amazing stay at Nuansa Homestay! Aldhi, the owner, and his family are lovely, they have helped us from the very beginning to the last moment: picking up us at 5 am, getting a local guide in Toraja, driving us to have dinner, helping to book the bus tickets to Tentena, and more. The accommodation was a traditional Toraja house, simple but very clean and well-preserved, making our experience feel authentic. If you are looking for wonderful accommodation in Rantepao, stop searching, Aldhi's homestay is definitely the place to be!

    Conveniently located in Rantepao, and a good base for your local tours. It was clean and had a pool for cooling off and restaurants on site. The property was very pretty!     We had a delightful stay at Nuansa Homestay, immersing ourselves in its rural charm and authentic accommodation. The host family was not only friendly but truly lovely and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. The traditional Tongkonan house was exceptionally clean, and surprisingly, no mosquitoes bothered us. One highlight was the fantastic guide (Mr. Natan) they provided, enhancing our experience.

    Highly recommended! I have never experienced so much helpfulness anywhere else. The accommodation is clean, in a good location, in a nice environment. The owner and his whole family are extremely friendly. They are always ready to help with anything: organizing tours, getting to know the area, information about culture and anything else. I thank Ibrahim for everything, without whom my stay would not have been so good

    Sanduk offers 2 nice and clean double rooms in the ground floor and two super rooms in the 1st floor; one of them king-size. Ibra, the owner, is extremely kind and helpful. He serves a nice breakfast in a terrace overlooking a quiet neigborhood. The homestay is located at a five minutes walk to Ke Te Kesu. No problem if the center of Rantepao is at some distance, Ibra is always ready to take or pick you up to/from the downtown for free. Definitely one of the best accomodation options in Rantepao

    Nice common room to rest with a tea after a busy day with candles. Nice breakfast and dinner (something different each time). Ended up staying 3 nights. Great cultural tour by scooter and good guide - custom tour. Store opposite the accommodation. Good mattresses and down blanket. Meyske and her friend were very helpful and gave tips for the rest of our trip.

    Highly recommend this accomodation. We had such a lovely time there! The owner even picked us up from the bus stop at 6 am and we were already allowed to check into our rooms then. In addition to that he gave us really good advices what to do in the area. Would definitely stay in this place again.
