We had a wonderful stay! The owner was extremely kind and even took us on a boat trip, which made our experience truly unforgettable. Porto Kagio itself is a magical place – a small, charming village full of character, perfect for disconnecting and relaxing. The atmosphere is peaceful and unique. The rooms are simple but comfortable, just what you need to enjoy this special location. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and serene getaway. Breakfast was nice and complete

Beautiful building, lovely room with balcony. Very nice and helpful service. Tasty breakfast if we wanted Greek yoghurt or fruit we asked and it was prepared for us. Nice swimming pool, close to the hotele there is two restaurants.

We enjoyed a wonderful friendly and comfortable stay at this family-owned- and run-property. Our room was very large with a great balcony from which we enjoyed beautiful views. The rooms have kitchenettes and you are very welcome to stay and make your own meals, though we preferred to enjoy some of the nice restaurants within a very short walk. Although the place is immaculately clean, it has a great laid-back and friendly relaxed vibe, and there is easy access to the water from a small, uncrowded beach only about 50 meters away. We felt immediately at home during our stay and fell in love with this remarkable little town and its beautiful surroundings. We will definitely return.

We had a great experience at Taenarium Antico! The house was clean, nice, cozy and had anything you might need. The view from our balcony was simply amazing! It is the perfect place to relax, decompress and admire the beauty of nature! Thank you for this beautiful experience!

A real joy to experience the warmth and friendliness of this seafront taverna/restaurant in the hands of the same family since the 1950's. Everyone was very welcoming right from the start and it was a particular pleasure to chat with Tasos - the founder's grandson - who is very personable and has an excellent command of English. The room was excellent sitting directly above the harbour on the quayside and it was a sheer delight to enjoy our morning cups of tea on the balcony absorbing the view before going down for breakfast. We also had our evening meals in their taverna and found the food delicious and great value. Gerolimenas proved an excellent base for our exploration of the Deep Mani and we had some wonderful (and at times quite exciting!) drives around the backroads visiting the tower house villages, many of which sadly now deserted but nevertheless extremely atmospheric. Would not hesitate to stay at Akroyiali again or recommend to other travellers!

    If you visit the Mani Peninsular, this must be one of the most peaceful and restful places to stay. The hospitality was superb with wonderful rooms and a breakfast which was incredible. Evening meals are also available. This B&B is adjacent to the beach and sunbeds are provided for guests, along with canoes free of charge. It was the best find we made during our exploration of the Peloponnese.

    We planned for 1 night, we stayed 2 : it speaks by itself! I would definitely come back. Mrs. Erika, at the RECEPTION, was very welcoming, helpful and nice. Excellent stay, I can only recommend it ...200%! In addition beside the facilities themselves: the place is a great gateway to peace and nature + the taverns in the small village offer excellent food, so everything is at its best at Porto Kaghio.

    We have just spent the most wonderful week at To Akrotiri. We arrived exhausted and left regenerated. Staying there is like being welcomed in to their family. Our thanks, for their many kindnesses, their patience & their gentle hospitality, to Ada, Nikos, Danae, Martina, and the extended team including Olympia, Renia & Yuri. Everybody is made to feel special. The rooms are fab, the location is unique, and the homemade food is delicious. We hope to see you again soon. Sarah & Robert
