What a place! The property is big, very well maintained and has a lot of equipment; it has a huge terrace that overlooks Agia Effimia and the sea, the view is beautiful. There are a few nice beaches within 5-10 min drive. The hosts were great.

Lovely apartment with great views across the harbour. Sami is a perfect location for accessing the rest of the island. There are several good restaurants - we can recommend Tereza, Deco and Il Familia in particular. We are hikers and the island has lots of trails with fantastic views over hills, valleys and the sea; an abundance of wildflower meadows was a major bonus. Try the small maritime museum just outside Sami : the owner has built a fantastic collection of replica boats of the past 3000 years.

It's an idyllic place, located in a magnificent village. Everything was superlative. The owners are absolutely wonderful, in the true spirit and Greek hospitality. It's a pity that we stayed only one night, but we will definitely come back. It's fabulous, to look at above that, the unique jewel of Assos, and in a few minutes you can be in its center, at any of the taverns there or by going up to the castle! I recommend 100%
