The place was right beside the Loch. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We travelled with our dog. The room was like a private little cottage with a nice bathroom. It was very clean, we had hot water all through our stay. There was no noise in the evening, this made it very easy to sleep well. We had coffee, tea, a kettle, a private coffee machine and complementary biscuits in our room. The decor of the room and the bathroom were updated. It had a very nice and tasteful decor. Usually people travelling with dogs don't get nice rooms but this room was delightful, very clean, there was no damp ( I have asthma and felt very well all through my stay, ).The Full Scottish breakfast was very good too. The breakfast room and the whole place was beautiful, full of nice characteristics. During breakfast we had a nice place to sit in a dinning room overlooking the beautiful Loch. We asked for advise about how to spend our short stay. We appreciated their very efficient advice as it helped us have a perfect day. We were offered not only one but two parking spaces (we had the opportunity to park right in front our room if we wanted to. We were ok with the general parking area of Village Inn, but still the offer was very thoughtful).

    Peaceful and beautiful. Very relaxed and lovely accommodations. Great place to go for a break from the rat race, for a tranquil getaway. Good spot to go on day excursions to Glasgow, Oban and for hikes, or just stay in the property and enjoy the view or go next door to rent a boat on the loch. Highly recommend.
