The cottage/house was super cozy at very "quiet” place. Leydi, the owner, was super nice and friendly. We had three choices for breakfast. On our request she made the breakfast a bit bigger and shared with us some complimentary bananas from their own garden. We had/saw a sloth on a tree, right in front of the house. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen with dinner few appliances and very basic equipment.

The whole place with the sustainable concept was marvelous. The lodges, common area, whole surrounding basically in the jungle, night tour with Jay, the organic food, juices, ... not to mention the owners. They are so dedicated to their cause and I learned so much of them in this short period I stayed there. When you wake up in the morning and embrace all the sounds, animals, trees, plants - the jungle, you think you are in heaven. I would highly recommend this place to stay. I hope to return one day

Amazing place just outside La Fortuna. Really quiet, perfectly harmonized with Nature, without sacrificing comfortable amenities. Everything was great, from the lovely breakfast full of homemade delicacies, to the comfortable rooms and beautiful surroundings. Totally recommend it to everyone wanting to enjoy La Fortuna by day and have a peaceful place to rest at night.

Owners Giovanni and Luis are not just hosts; they are true ambassadors of hospitality. Kind and dedicated professional who truly care for their customers, who feel at home right away, and for their place, and who are also committed to protect local wildlife and maintain the surroundings impeccably. San Rafael is a very special place, sited at a rainforest, which makes it unique. Rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is delicious! Muchas, muchas gracias, Giovanni and Luis. No question I will be back!

The location is amazing, your own hire car is highly recommended. The resort is a unique nature experience with passionate welcoming staff. The hot springs, river, both restaurants, guided walks were all amazing. Only regret is not staying for 4 nights instead of two.

This 2-bedroom house was absolutely perfect for our family with two kids! We give it a perfect 10 out of 10. The host was incredibly friendly, the house was spotlessly clean, everything was in excellent condition, and it was fully equipped with everything we needed. Our son enjoyed the pool whenever he could. We had a wonderful stay and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone!
