Perfect location at the foot of Avatar peaks. The staff were extremely helpful—organised our tickets and transport effortlessly. Lovely pool and local cuisine topped off a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff; we got very competent advice - in English - about the tourist attractions. Rainbow knows the tricks of how to get tickets, even when they seem sold out. Would also check online posts about the visibility in the mountains :-) The accommodation is on a quiet street, allowed us a very good rest. Location is also great for food and access to the Tianmen mountain cable car. Would definitely stay there again! Rainbow is an absolutely amazing lady! We had a distracted teenager in the group, who lost his expensive camera on the way back to the airport. Rainbow was incredibly helpful to recover it well after we left the hotel and the country.

Very spacious rooms, comfortable beds, nice space. It's located next to the Zimugang entrance which is less busy than others. More tranquil surroundings, but still a few restaurants available around. The host Anthony was very helpful, arranged our park entrance tickets in advance, and was always here to answer any questions we had. The breakfast was plentiful and filling & there's also an option to have dinner at the hotel. Overall a great experience and I'd stay here again if I had a chance.

The rooms are very clean and spacious, and the staff are very friendly ,they picked us up from the train station and have helped us arrange our trip . My mom wanted to prepare her own pancakes and they didn’t hesitate to provide her with all the items . The view from the lodge is amazing as well . We had a magical time in this hotel one of the best.

The treatment received, Cherry helped us in everything from the first minute, attentively caring, she explained to us perfectly how to organize our 2 days to see the Zhangjiajie park, the gram canyon and Tiananmen mountains She gave us maps, got us all the tickets, gave us directions, helped us with everything and made the best recommendations. Carol was very accommodating, friendly and trustworthy! She gives you all the tips and tricks to get around the park in the most efficient way possible. The walk was also very quick, if you walk fast the gate is less than 5mins away. We had several problems during our trip but Carol was always willing to help us figure things out immediately. Can’t get this type of hospitality from many other accommodations. We really liked the food especially the beer duck it was amazing.

Amazing place! It's really THE accomodation to choose if you want to discover Zhangjiajie national park and avoid the crowds. You can watch the sunset at a great spot close to the hotel, get up early and walk to one of the sunrise spots (pretty much guaranteed that you'll be there by yourself), and get the best advice how to plan your route to avoid the crowds. Everyone goes above and beyond to make sure you have a fantastic time at YOLO resort. I absolutely recommend staying there!

The holiday was great, it was my first time staying at this hotel. Clean and comfortable, heated beds (which is important if it’s cold outside). Check in very quickly. The guys at the hotel are very friendly, caring and patient. They try to help with any questions. English is spoken well at the hotel. Special thanks to Anthony for his care and patience. There is a cute dog living in the hotel and if you love animals this will be a pleasant bonus.

I really liked the fact that the staff helped me a lot with organising my visit to the national parks according to my own preferences. The gentleman at reception is very obliging and speaks good English. I enjoyed this very much and thank him for the expedition to this breathtaking region of Zhangjiajie. The accommodation is ideally located for exploring the Avatar Mountains or the Glass Bridge. Helpfulness is very important at the accommodation. The breakfast was also very good. I really enjoyed my stay overall.

The host is amazing, she helped me with everything! Booking tickets with discount, finding my way in Zhangjiajie, restaurant accommodations etcetera. The second day unfortunately the toilet was broken and they fixed it immediately. Even when I decided to check out earlier than plannend because of the bad weather, she helped me with arranging everything, she even payed back my last night. Highly recommend!

Mountainside hotel is local-style, clean and a fantastic view of the National Park. We can see the beautiful mountain from the room. Choices of local and western style of breakfast.The manager gave us souvenirs as gifts. Perfect location and great accommodations.
