The unit was really lovely with a lot of attention to detail. The contactless check in was efficient. The location was close to the centre of Mahone Bay. We really enjoyed our stay here, and would recommend to other traveller's.

    Our stay at the Alicion Bed & Breakfast was exceptional. This accommodation was more than a simple B&B. It was an opportunity to experience an incredible heritage home that has been decorated to perfection. Our suite had the best bed ever. Joe and Christopher were excellent Hosts providing an outstanding breakfast and attention to detail we have rarely seen in our travels. Congrats to Joe & Christopher for a job very well done.

    A really special b&b that meets your expectations and experiences of a well run b&b. The accommodations with private shower was very nice. Joe's was professional, courteous and informative. The breakfast of fresh fruit, juice, coffee, tea, parfait and waffles with sausage was well done. And real maple syrup.

    We arrived in Lunenberg just as Hurricane Lee was approaching and we had to stay a second night Power went out during the night and all the 2nd day. Joe and Christopher were extremely accommodating given the circumstances keeping us fed and safe. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this accommodation.

    The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating! We originally had only 2 nights booked but decided to cancel our other accommodation and extend our stay at the Rum Runner for a 3rd night. The view, room and proximity to restaurants and attractions were more than we bargained for. We'd definitely stay here again.

    The location is amazing! We had a deck that overlooked the harbour, and everything was easily walkable. The front desk clerk was a delight, and the accommodations were very clean. The only quirk was the shower, which was a walk-in so the water got all over the floor, in spite of best efforts to capture it. Bed was comfortable.
