I stayed for one night so I could revisit Hanging Rock and participate at Campaspe parkrun the following day. I really enjoyed my stay. Islay house is about 5-10 mins walk from Woodend station. Very close to the town centre and right across the road from Campaspe parkrun. I was made to feel very welcome. Tarni and Clive are really nice and friendly and I really enjoyed their company. I was especially grateful to Tarni for offering to take me to the rock and picking me up later. I didn't expect it. Not many people would do that. It was such a nice gesture, and I really appreciated it. The property is really clean and comfortable. In fact, I had the best night's sleep throughout my time in Australia when I stayed here. The blue room was a lovely room to stay in, spotless and spacious. I had a good breakfast the following morning at a time, which suited me. I could have easily stayed for longer, and I do hope to go back again at some point. I was very happy with my decision to come here. It was perfect for what I was looking for and if you're planning to visit woodend, this is the place to come. Highly recommended!!

    Our host Andrew was exceptional. He greeted us the minute we arrived, provided a range of delicious homemade breakfast provisions, including homemade quince jam and granola and was quick to replenish when we run low. He gave great suggestions on what to do and yet was never obstructive. The cottage itself is set on big sprawling grounds that attract a lot of birds. We had everything we needed for a lovely stay

    Everything was absolutely stunning! We had the most amazing relaxing weekend away and Andrew really went to an effort to make us feel welcomed and to make the cabin so beautiful and enjoyable for us to stay, I will definitely be coming back.

    I loved this property. Everything, from the warm welcome by the host, the comfort, cleanliness and generous provisions, was wonderful. Stunning location and thoughtful inclusions added to the overall enjoyment of my stay. Would definitely recommend Wotama.

    Could not have picked a better place to spend a couple of days with my mum. The setting alone is peaceful, stunning and the accommodation exceeded all expectations. The attention to detail, extra touches like bottle of bubbly on arrival and absolutely delicious breakfast with all the extras was much appreciated. Great base to explore the Macedon Rangers. Hosts Wendy and Brian were warm and accommodating.
