Situated within 25 km of The Marie Rawdon Museum and 42 km of Aquila Private Game Reserve in Laingsburg, Rooilande Guest Farm provides accommodation with seating area. What a discovery!!! And that's coming from a really picky traveler. We were looking for a night over place on our way north but when we arrived at Rooilande farm we decided immediately to stay an extra night. The area is huuuge, you're driving good 20 min from the main road. Bungalows look brand new, super well designed. Rooms are more than spacious, you get storage area, well equipped kitchen, bathroom with beautiful bathtub with window next to it. The highlight however is a terrace facing the valley. You see nothing else but sky and hills. A zebra occasionally walks in the distance to a water tank. Absolute peace and quiet. There are several animals on the farm almost all of them rescues bunch of horses, ostrich a dog, a cat, few Alpacas. All of it plus exceptional hosts made our stay a divine experience. We wish we could stay there longer.

The staff were professional and attentive. Everything was well Maintained. We were spoiled from the moment we arrived. Definitely would recommend it to others. Breakfast in the garden was outstanding.

Beautifully done. The fireplace was a hit. Lovely king size bed and a comfortable place to sit by the fire. It's definitely a place to stay awhile.

FACILITY DON'T HAVE BREAKFAST, BUT I FOUND A NICE COFFEE SHOP WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. ALSO FACILTIY GOT FULL ON KITCHEN THAT YOU CAN PREPARE YOUR OWN FOOD THAT I WILL DEFINITLY USE FOR A NEXT TIME . ENJOYED MY LATE EVENING SAFE WALK. ALSO HAD AN OPPERTUNITY TO TAKE AN 8KM RUN.

The house was supremely modern and comfortable, with every tiny detail considered by the Owners. The pool and courtyard were wonderful, as were the huge windows into the kitchen area for all that Karoo light.
