Set in Fengshan, 4.1 km from Jiao Lung Waterfall, Alishan MinYue Hotel offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a restaurant. Very helpful owners who arranged a lift for us to get back as there is no bus nearby. Dinner and breakfast can be ordered which had lots of dishes and was delicious! Quiet area and beautiful -i had an upstairs room which had a beautiful view.

Dafong Hotel is just a 10-minute walk from Alishan Railway Station, where restaurants serving traditional Taiwanese delights reside. It also offers free WiFi access and private parking. Nice staff who were very helpful at planning our activities in Alishan. The room was clean and comfortable.

Set in Zhongzheng, Chiayi County region, Kao Feng Hotel is located 33 km from Jiao Lung Waterfall. The property is non-smoking and is situated 500 metres from Alishan Forest Railway. The previous reviews do not do justice to this hotel, as after reading them I expected something medium level, therefore, I was very surprised to find a good size and quality room - yes the design is outdated, but it was a charm. We made tea in a lovely tea set in the room; the electric blanket was not needed for our visit, but a nice touch. The hotel provided free transport to return to the bus station. Breakfast was simple.
