Wild Planet Eco Retreat has free bikes, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Bhurkīā. Among the various facilities are a bar and water sports facilities. What a gem. I have been to Bardiya three times and Wildplanet is king. The rooms are comfortable, the property is beautiful, the village is charming, and the staff welcomes you like family. I seriously love this place. The other reviews will rave about the legend that is Baba and his team and their efforts in conservation and educaiton and talent as guides - but one aspect I don't see discussed is the quality of traveler Wildplanet attracts. Every night I seem to find myself engaged in fireside chats with the most fascinating of people. A constant stream of passionate thinkers, wildlife scientists, curious travelers and wild adventurers. Love it!

Mr. B's Place has free bikes, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Bhurkīā. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. We cannot say enough good things about Mr. B’s. This is a budget hotel/cottage in a small village outside a National park, so its offerings are simple but met all of our needs. The room was one of the nicest we had in Nepal (and the cheapest), the food was delicious and the whole experience left us relaxed and refreshed. I am not sure life will ever bring me back to Bardiya, but if it does- this is where I will stay.

Boasting a bar, a garden and garden views, Tiger Tops Karnali Lodge is situated in Bardia National Park. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Very comfortable wonderful lodge. It is an ‘institution’ in the safari sector of Nepal and deservedly so. The management (BC), staff and guides (Bhim in particular) are all incredible, nothing is too much trouble.

The stay was comfortable rooms were amazing. My family and friends (15 people) travelling loved it. The food was spot on the safari was amazing the staff was very very attentive and helpful
