Located in Dhaalu Atoll, Sun Siyam Iru Veli - Premium All Inclusive has a fitness centre, an indulgent over water spa and a bar. From the arrival when you’re welcomed to the lounge everything was great! The lounge itself is comfortable and with quality food, anyone landing after a long trip will find some relaxation there while waiting for the seaplane transfer (which is managed by TMA not the resort directly, sometimes you have to wait a bit to get the plane), lounge has also space and playground for children to make them comfortable and relax parents. The island is a true pearl, very well maintained and with good reef and beaches. You’re welcomed by an ambassador which will support any request during your stay, I take the opportunity to thank mine, Rilwan, for the hospitality and assistance. All your stay and activities can be managed with an application on your smartphone. You can eat at buffet or you can book Rome restaurant (Italian) or beach grill. Both have great food choices and great view to relax your eyes and mind while di in and drinking! Buffet’s food is good as well and for breakfast you have a rich offering. All service is awesome and everyone tries to be helpful. My room was as expected, spectacular view over the lagoon and the sunset. Thanks to the nice Alamin for taking care of the room with respect. The bathtub facing the open ocean is an amazing experience. The reef is beautiful in the east/north side of the island with many fishes and corals. And you’ll meet the usual reef sharks which are so nice. Also some stingrays hangs around. Overall, a great place within the unique context of a Maldivian getaway.

Luau Beach Inn, Maldives in Fulidhoo provides adults-only accommodation with a private beach area, a garden and a shared lounge. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome, and we didn’t want to leave at the end of our week’s stay. Our gorgeous sea view room was impeccable and was cleaned everyday. The air con was sweet relief on this hot island, and the Wi-Fi was good. The restaurant on the top floor offers the best dining view on the island and we really can’t praise the whole staff enough. Special thanks to Linda, Basi, Abhlo, Lashan, Kethshan, Mafu, and Fayyaz for going above and beyond to look after us during our stay, making it extra special. We applaud the small eco-friendly touches which are no doubt having a mighty impact on the environment. We can’t wait to return to see the staff and the positive changes they are having, working together with the community on this beautiful local island.

Canreef Resort is on Herathera Island, one of the 6 islands that form Addu Atoll, the Southernmost Atoll in the Maldives. The staff was very friendly and polite. The resort was amazing and the food was good. The spa was excellent and we loved our time in Canareef.

Set in Maradhoofeydhoo in the Addu Atoll region, WAVE SOUND by 3S Maldives provides accommodation with access to a public bath. Addu, the southernmost atoll of Maldives and the only one across the equator is a special place to visit. And it’s made doubly special by 3S and its awesome staff. Mr. Atheef, the ever pleasant and helpful manager and his staff will do everything possible in their capacity to make your visit special. 3S overlooked a small strip of beach which has now been extended which makes those special night strolls under starry skies memorable. The rooms are impeccable and the in house dining caters to every taste. Where the beach ends, the snorkeling begins and we saw some very awesome sea life including manta rays and turtle not to mention the colorful reef fish. And where the snorkeling ends, the private island of Hajara, walkable to, across the reef during low tide, will make the holiday an affair to remember. Mr. Atheef and team setup an umbrella with tables and chairs and brought in food and drinks for our own Maldivian picnic on that island. Snorkels, Bikes and canoes were supplied as and when needed. He also organized a trip to Addu park and Koattey beach, a must visit site on the north of the atoll. By the way this is the only island where a long 15 km road connects the various islands of the atoll. But he took it one more level up by organizing a special trip to the southernmost end of the island which needs special permission and escort vehicles to get to that place. Literally called Southernmost point, it’s the last point at the southern end of Maldives. A truly magical place. Finally he rounded it off with a dolphin watching trip on one of the Dhonis. A must do adventure and more fun if the sea is choppy. Overall the stay at 3S and the experience was one of the best trips I’ve taken ever.
