Set in Yuzawa and with Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort reachable within 2.3 km, Yukinohana offers a restaurant, allergy-free rooms, free WiFi and a bar. We would say everything (we visit in Oct2023). Staffs are nice and helpful, and make our stay truly feel like second home. Room is clean and well prepared. Beds are comfy, and have no problems to our sleep. Private bathes and public bath are clean and well-organised. If you use it during day-time, you will find a panoramic view - which is so splendid! (we enjoy it so much!). Breakfast in Japanese style - which they serve a lots of stuffs in set - however we must say it truly fulfil our day. We also get discount for dragondora ropeway ticket (I think you can get cheaper price if you buy at some designated hotel - however we cannot read japanese, so we just ask the price and book through the hotel instead). In brief, we recommended and we would go back again!

Situated in Sado, 一棟貸切 古民家民泊あさひ provides accommodation with a hot tub. This villa offers a garden. The villa also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Peaceful location overlooking rice fields. Close to some excellent restaurants and cafes. Excellent self-contained, roomy accommodation.

Offering mountain views, Sasakura onsen Ryuunso in Itoigawa provides accommodation and an open-air bath. A hot spring bath is available for guests, along with a public bath. It was a lovely stay, place is well maintained although built in the 80s or 90s so furnishing represents that era. Onsen was lovely with different options and the water temperature was quite hot. Its an elaborate traditional japanese breakfast spread with lots of tasty dishes. I would recommend the place and you feel very relaxed after the onsen and they provide lots of little snacks and ice-cream which was a bonus with the kids. It is quite off the main road and the onsen itself is the destination.

We felt home staying there. Nice breakfast and hanging area. Dry room was really nice to have especially for daily snow activities.

The quality was great, and was relatively inexpensive. The service was on point and a very easy pain free sign in process. The modern hotel didn't lack any amenities.

Featuring 4-star accommodation, Kyukamura Myoko is located in Myoko, 38 km from Zenkoji Temple and 40 km from Nagano Station. The place was exceptional with friendly staff and services. The room and onsen were both well facilitated and clean. We were staying here for six nights and they prepared us different Japanese style dinners on every night, which were all amazingly good. The buffet breakfast was nice with good variety as well. We have had a great time here and skiing in Myoko.

Featuring 3-star accommodation, APA Hotel Joetsu Myoko-Ekimae is located in Joetsu, 47 km from Ryuoo Ski Park and 31 km from Lake Nojiri. Winter 2025. Being next to the Lawson was incredibly convenient. The location was sort of noisy due to the Shinkansen/train running. The Onsen was wonderful when visited outside of the busy times. Parking on-site was ¥500 and a one-time in-and-out transaction. However, parking is a bit small and does get full. The Times parking South/Southwest (next to train station) was ¥600 and a good solution in case the on-site gets full. Staff was wonderful. You can use the public transportation pick-up/drop-off area for quick access to the site for dropping off luggage or grabbing something.

Set within 49 km of Ryuoo Ski Park and 49 km of Zenkoji Temple, Lotte Arai Resort features rooms in Myoko. This was a very well maintained resort and the staff was lovely! The room was perfect with cozy vibes for enjoying the snowfall! If you enjoy skiing or just relaxing in a winter wonderland it’s a great place!
