Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. I went with my family (2 adults + 2 toddlers aged 3 and 2) and we were awed by the great view (windows) overseeing the lake. Room size was awesome to fit 2 huge luggage and there is free parking opposite. There are yukata for kids and a smaller potty adapter. The staff who served us dinner was awesome and my kids love her. Just note that the bath water in the bathroom is not from hot spring but hot spring water is available at public bath. Room amenities are great (Air purifier, soap, lotions etc. provided) and not too old (Considered well maintained). Hotel facilities are nice. Location is good because there is a convenient store nearby and walkable to ropeway attraction. Would very much want to go back again.

The interior design of the outer bar was great & cozy, staff was friendly & helpful, we also try the public onsen & sauna also rent bicycle all day, which was great experience, so far this hotel is one of the best hotel that I’ve ever stayed

Best hotel In Japan! The room was big, comfortable, we booked the speedway view since in the summer you don’t see Mount Fuji and it’s was pretty amazing, you can see the cars practice and race! My boyfriend loved it and the museum is very nice too. Very nice staff too :)

Situated within 36 km of Lake Kawaguchi and 38 km of Fuji-Q Highland, Kitayama Fuji View House provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Fujinomiya. The couple who run this place were so incredibly kind and accommodating! They picked us up from Shin-Fuji station by car, took us to a convenience store before the house, and drove us to Fujinomiya station in the morning. They even had refreshments when we arrived at the house! The house was absolutely gorgeous and if the weather is clear has an incredible view of Fuji. The beds were comfortable and there's even a bathtub available for use. The AC was also American-cold which we really appreciated. Really couldn't recommend it more!
