The hotel was beautiful and the staff so efficient. The room was an excellent size, tastefully furnished and the bed was the most comfortable of the whole trip. Being on top of a shopping mall was a bonus! Also I love the train station proximity. We caught the trams to the castle and city centre, which was easy.

For example, when the front desk called for a taxi, one of the concierges in the lobby escorted us to the taxi, and made sure the driver knew where we were going. The rooftop pool and spa were most welcome after a long day of travel.

The Lounge on 24th floor was 7 star service. The staff were phenomenal and took special attention of us and were so generous to our kids. They received special gifts upon arrival. Not a single moment of discomfort and all our needs were immediately attended to from food, beverages, taxi booking, room service.

Offering a garden and garden view, Akitsuki Kominka Yado You is located in Asakura, 14 km from Hiroshiki Oda Museum of Art and 19 km from Ankokuji Temple. the owner is a quite person but very kind and considerate. she was one of very few accommodation-owners who speak english. 1. specially she took care of our electrical bicycles which need battery charging. she made an indoor space in a different house which is perfect. 2. also the kitchen which is well devised and like home kitchen was very nice to use. 3. the room we stayed has so nice mountain view, which was tranquil. 4. during our stay, it was heavy rain and we, bike traveller, probably made the space dusty. but she understood the situation and was generous to provide more towels to wipe water on body. 5. we vediotaped the house because her retro-renovation of the old farm house(actually looks old shop house in a farming village) was very intriguing and informative. (very japanese as well as very moderate and inexpensive)
