Best hostel that we have stayed in Iceland. Best location, friendly and caring staffs, good price. Clean shower room, hostel as a whole. Big drawer to keep stuffs and not overcrowded room, maximum six people in our room. Good security from entrance, to door to dormitory space, to dormitory room.

Located on top of a private farm having views of mountains and glaciers from the sit-out. Extremely quiet. Not even a soul could be heard from there. Only sound was sheep and lovely breeze. Beautiful wooden 2 bedroom cottage having every possible thing one might need. Can easily spend 2 days to enjoy it fully. Worth every price and highly recommend it to anyone looking for quiet time in Iceland.

Far and away the best place we stayed in Iceland (and we stayed in some nice places!) This gorgeous, family-run manor house was full of charm and coziness -- truly nothing anodyne about it. The staff was so lovely and the food was phenomenal. We would return to southern Iceland just to stay here again.
