The man at the reception desk when we arrived was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and the atmosphere in the breakfast room was calm and peaceful.

Located in the town of Kastoria, Filoxenia offers elegantly appointed rooms with balconies enjoying panoramic views of the city and the lake. The Byzantine Museum lies within a short walk. the views over the lake and village below were magnificent. that same view was available from the breakfast room bay window, that housed 2 tables, it was at big breakfast of local delicacies and one that we met and chatted for sometime with greek residents travelling, who stay there yearly. the hosts a multigenerational family business were interested in my wife and I travels thru Greece, and when asked were very helpful in suggesting places to stopover on our drive down to Athens. we stayed at 2 of the suggested beachside villages and they were great recommendations. would also recommend having a meal at the mountain top Meat house, great views over the entire lake and beyond to Macedonia/Albania. short not too hard a walk to and from the village lakefront eateries below.

Chloe is a modern and elegant hotel, situated 1.5 km from the centre of Kastoria overlooking the lake and the magnificent Vitsi Mountain. Free Wi-Fi is available in all the hotel areas. The room was large and clean. Breakfast was excellent and the owner of the hotel, who personally made some of the food, stood there and explained what was on the table. We visited the hotel shortly after the storm Daniel hit greece, and the hotel staff sat on the phone a long time to get information from the police if the road we were taking to our next destination was safe.

Located in Kastoria, The South Apartment In Old Town is a recently renovated accommodation, 800 metres from Byzantine Museum of Kastoria and 2.2 km from Kastoria Lake. Tha staff was very friendly and sweet, also there were 2 different bathrooms and apartment balcony view was great.

Real nice wooden house ,with 2 bedrooms in one magic area ,surrounding from woods and rivers. Has everything to make your stay unforgettable. Full cooking stuff, a fantastic fireplace, a nice garden,and real privacy. Recommended 100%.will come back next year.
