Located on the Ile d’Oleron, the Hotel Île De Lumière offers direct access to the beach. It has an outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court and many other facilities. The room was excellent, clean, comfortable and lovely decor. The pool looked wonderful, but a little too cold for a swim.

The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help with anything we needed. The location is ideal — close to the main sights, restaurants, and shops, yet quiet enough to relax peacefully. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and would be happy to come back again.

Very good communication with the owner. She helps us to check-in on time to go change for a wedding we were attending. It is also very calm.

Located in La Cotinière, the recently renovated Clos des Aigrettes -6 Gîtes de charme et confort à 30m du Port de La Cotinière provides accommodation less than 1 km from Plage de Matha and 13 km from... Perfect little place to visit La Cotiniere and the surrounding towns. Parking right on site. We had our own space on the second level with Bedroom, living room, dining room, and a cute little terrace that the weather sadly didn't cooperate to let us use. Coffee and confiture, among other staples, were thoughtfully provided and all appliances worked well. The apartment is very well appointed and has everything you need to be self-sufficient during your stay. It was also nice to be able to wash our clothes mid-trip while we stayed here. Our host was lovely and provided lots of information and suggestions. We will definitely stay here again.

Truly a very special place that we can warmly recomend !
