1.7 km from Colossi of Memnon, Bedouin Lodge Luxor is a recently renovated property situated in Luxor and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. First of all, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The owner was extremely accommodating. He helped organizing our tours and made sure everything was okay. He even drove us personally (and free of charge) to the river bank so we could enjoy dinner there. The place was beautiful and peaceful. Nice rooms with AC working perfectly. We enjoyed a sunset in their small jaccuzzi, which was lovely. Lastly, the food was delicious.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about our stay at Luxor Rose Villa and the owner Momo. We stayed four nights and three full days. Momo organized a pick up from the airport upon arrival and gave us a tour of the property in which I got to pick a fresh papaya from the back garden. The place was clean and much larger than the pictures make it seem. The highlight was absolutely the garden in pool. Since we were traveling in summer, the temperatures were quite hot, so having the private pool was such a luxury. Momo was also an exceptional host. He took us on a motorcycle ride through the village to the dessert to see the sunset on day and another day we went out on his feluca (sailboat) with his nephew for a mile sunset cruise. Additionally, he set us up with Mo who we used every day as our guide to the numerous sites in Luxor. Our whole experience in Luxor and at the villa was absolutely the highlight of our trip.

This historic hotel is a luxury landmark built in 1886 in distinctive authentic Victorian style. This was our third stay at the Winter Palace. Need to say more? Okay! Historic hotel. Superb location. Oasis of comfort and style. Gorgeous building and garden. Love the bar. Perfect choice for sightseeing on the East Bank. Breakfast in the room before heading off to Karnak Temple at 6am to beat the crowds. Excellent hotel!

He's an architect of the Arabic design style, and those elements are everywhere. What a beautiful space! Also, do not miss the opportunity to have dinner and breakfast added to your stay. The family does an amazing dinner cooked with wood fire underground. They allowed me to video the process, which starts hours before dinner. Truly one of the best meals of our trip in Egypt.
