In the morning she prepares traditional Albanian breakfast, enjoyed with the beautiful view over the mountains and Gjirokaster castle. Highly recommend to stay here!

Kerculla Resort is located at the top of Gjirokastra, 16 km from Antigona, 52 km from Saranda, 65 km from Butrinti and 36 km from Syri i Kaltër ( Blue Eye ) ! We had the best 3 days of our Albanian vacation at Resort Kerculla. The staff is extremely helpful, smiling and serviceminded. The pool area and the view makes you want to stay all day. Great breakfast and food in general at the restaurant. I would recommend this place to anyone. We walked (15-20 minutrs) to and from the old bazar (town) on steep streets. We could have taken a taxi, but we took it as workout.

Nice traditional design elements in an otherwise very modern and comfortable room. The old town is a short (and steep) walk away. We enjoyed the walk and it was nice not having to drive through the narrow cobblestone streets.
