It is easy to give a good review when things go perfectly, but it is when things don't go smoothly and the property owner makes an exceptional effort to put things right, that reviews really matter. I turned up to my booking to find the property unattended. Short of time, I booked somewhere else. Booking.com doesn't allow immediate cancellation, even though it is obvious that no one needs two different stays on the same night! The owner was very communicative and understanding and worked hard to help process the refund. To me, this is the mark of an exceptional and responsible property owner. If your travelling the R62 and don't stop here you will have missed the best b&b ,the food is beyond excellent ,if your booking Its a must to order dinner .We have stayed here several times in recent years and in 22 years of travelling the Karoo never found anything better ,Elmarie and Kobus are exceptional hosts and go the extra mile to make sure your stay is an exceptional experience Geoff wood
