The hotel is in a great location, with many sights, restaurants, bars and shops close-by. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. The beds are comfortable, the mattresses are of medium hardness. The bathroom is spacious, the shower has great water pressure. The hotel has 3 onsite restaurants, I tried the brasserie which was good but there are also a number of other good restaurants within walking distance to the hotel. Don't miss the hotel spa, which has 5 different types of saunas a decent pool and a seawater hot tub, not too mention the great treatments, cosmetic products etc. Breakfast is amazing as well.

Best accommodation in Trondheim: central location, decent prices, everything you need. They have several apartments, and the photos on Booking are orientative only, they are not the photos of the real places, but they deliver on what's promised. I stayed in the apartment located in Solsiden - 5 min away from Bryggene, 10 min from lovely Bakkegata, 1 min from Solsiden lively square with lots of restaurants. Perfect location. In terms of facilities, they also have everything that's stated on the Facilities section + coffee filters, scissors, detergent for dishes and washing machine. The only thing not included is toiletries (shampoo, shower gel), but if you read the facilities you'll be prepared (as they don't state they include that). I noticed some bad reviews due to the lack of awareness that this address is only for the keys pickup, while the actual apartments are 5 minutes walking distance away from this address, in Solsiden center. If you're aware and have the expectations correctly set, then no surprises mean no problem. For any questions, you can message them and they reply quickly, clearly and kindly. I love Scandic, no matter which one and in which city. I have been to at least three cities: Tromso, Bergen and Trondheim. And everywhere Scandic is an incredibly good hotel, delicious and varied breakfasts. Clean rooms:) There are three Scandic hotels in Trondheim, we have already been to two and they are all incredibly good!

One of the best breakfasts I've had in a hotel! Rooms with two bunk beds are perfect for a family. The personnel at the reception was very nice throughout the whole stay. Great location, walking distance from the airport, just look for a not so obvious underpass after the parking garage.
