Accessible Hotels in Kirkenes

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in Europe. Extraordinary breakfast buffet with varieties, free coffee and tea throughout the day. Very nice and helpful staff. It is almost at the front of the sea and can be viewed the northern lights easily. From the breakfast area, there is very impressive panoramic view to Fjords and sea. From the hotel bed room you may request for ocean view, which is recommended. There is a kettle and tea in each room. Room was very clean. The restaurant in the Thon Hotel is very good. They serve vegetables, fresh fish/crabs and meat! The sightseeing tour bus stops here in front of Thon Hotel. I will come back again. I recommend everybody to try this hotel for a visit!

Great breakfast, clean room, we have everything we need

Amazing stay, lovely location, best place to see the northern lights! I did a lot of activities - Dog sledging, reindeer feeding, hunting for northern lights. I would recommend staying more than one night and also get a room in one of the Gamma cabins - it is out of this world. A fairytale place indeed.

The hotel is an older building but it adds to the charm. The bed is large and comfortable and the window can be opened. The restaurant downstairs has the best General Tsos chicken ive ever had! They have a dumb waiter for your luggage as there is no elevator
