Very hospitable and service oriented staff. Rooms are clean and crisp, excellent bed, spacious bathroom & showers. Pool area is spectacular! Great to kill some time while exotic birds fly around you. Good breakfast spread with lots of variety. Overall enjoyed our stay very much.

Super-friendly family as owners and exceptional location. The garden is also great and with a lot of trees (coconut among them), bushes and little ponds, perfect for the kids. The view on the lake is beautiful - and despite that we had no mosquitos. We were the only guests at that time, the family offered a spontaneous cooking class as well. They even organised our safari with a very nice quide.

This is the best place for your Yala National Park Safari. Sanjeewa is the best host! He can organize everything for an extremely fair price and the Safari package he is offering is amazing. You get picked up at the hotel, the breakfast will be organized for you and you can eat it while waiting to enter the park. The safari itself is great too and after you will receive delicious home made curries with red rice and tea/coffee. I would always book with Moon Light Guest House again. Thanks so much! Wonderful location right on the beach in Kalametiya. Breakfast and dinner were both served on the beach - the food was really excellent and the atmosphere totally relaxing. The proprietor and his delightful family take a pride in offering a unique, personal service to the guests. Another bonus is the proximity of the hotel to the amazing Kalametiya bird sanctuary. This hotel exceeded our expectations and is highly recommended.
