Athena Hotel at Thiruvannamalai exceeded our expectations. IT was quite a high end hotel compared to what you get around in that area. Noise level was non-existent which really helps you sit and meditate or observe the scenery. The staff at the hotel is very accomodative to your requests and goes out of its way to help the guests right from checking in to booking an auto or taxi. Food was amazing. the restaurant prepared fresh food daily and based on crowd offered buffet vs. made to order dinner. Overall, very pleasant stay. Will come again.

Ranjit greeted us at the desk to facilitate the check-in. We arrived earlier than the check-in time, there was a room ready for us and Ranjit was quick to check us in and get us into our room. Vijay escorted us with our luggage, insisting on carrying everything. He showed us around the room and made sure everything was in working order, including the A/C. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. It had a lovely fenced balcony so that you could enjoy it without worrying about monkeys stopping in for a visit. The bathroom, kitchen and living room space were very clean with ample space. Our stay at Ramana Towers felt like a home away from home. Throughout our stay, the team always greeted us with smiles and happily assisted with any requests we had. Thank you to Ranjit, Suresh, Murugan and Mohan at the front desk for all your help during our stay. We enjoyed it very much and look forward to returning.
