Even though the rooms were snug the attention to detail and comfort was exceptional, and the small bathroom amenities were superior. We also loved the quaint details referring to the place's history as a jail.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location for visiting Winchester. Our room was fantastic with a very comfortable bed, large bathroom and view into the courtyard. We chose the half board dinner and breakfast option. The dinner included two courses with many choices some of which required paying extra. As you would expect, there was an interesting wine list. The breakfast buffet also offered your choice of freshly cooked eggs, my husband enjoyed the full English while I loved my eggs Benedict.

We were in Room 24 on the ground floor, which was big & comfortable. Bonus of parking right out the front of the room. We had a lovely evening meal & great breakfast. The staff were lovely.

Very simple and efficient check in. Receptionists more than helpful giving me, a disabled guest, help and support to gain access to my room. Easy to login vehicle registration on tablet.
