Liked everything sbout it. Fabulously modern, very cosy, warm, clean. Faciities were first class. Plenty of tea, coffee, milk. etc. Lighting was brilliant. Bedside lights, reading lights and full lights. Added bonus was the USB ports for charging phones. Lovely wardrobe space. Most comfortable bed ever. Lots clean towels daily. Bestnplave have ever stayed. Highly recommend. 😃

I liked everything except the steps on the balcony. They are slippery and my boyfriend slipped and fell. It would be nice to put rubber strips on the steps to prevent slipping. But overall I was very happy and satisfied with my stay there.

The location is amazing as it’s easy to reach by train, and as soon as you reach the location you’re immersed into nature and can’t hear any city noises. Spa is Basic but well maintained and they offer a lot of extra services, can get a bit busy and people are not always respectful to behave spa-like, but time it right during the day and you can have an amazing relaxing experience.

The Bell Inn is located in Thorpe le Soken. The Inn has a terrace and garden views, free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar (Please check our website for opening...

Lovely big room in a very old and charming inn. Everything is crooked! (but the building is from the 15th century...) A shame we only stayed for one night. The bathroom was as good as new and very beautiful. The room was cosy and clean. Very near the boat to/from Harwich, about 20 minutes. Much space to park your car on the opposite side of the street, with a private parking from the hotel. In the morning we were allowed to choose a breakfast from the regular menu card, no matter the costs, it was 'all in'. Wow! Would definitely go back here if we ever travel to England by boat.

Beautiful place and sightings. The members of staff are friendly and bringing smile to the face. The salmon in the restaurant was delicious.

I loved the hotel and would definitely stay there again when visiting Colchester! Very good value for money. The room was huge, with a double bed and a sofa. The bathroom was nice as well, the shower room was huge and it had shampoo, shower gel and soap for the hands. The room was very clean and had a kettle and everything to have a tea in the room. The staff was very friendly! You can ask for a comb, toothbrush or shaving kit for free in the reception. I had dinner in the restaurant, tried different food and it was delicious and very tasty, also affordable.
